The Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Foundation

Mission Statement

The Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Foundation is a private operating foundation established in 1978 to promote and encourage recognition and appreciation of excellence in the arts and medical research, through the support of exhibitions, art scholarships, medical research centers and hospitals, and through the endowment of galleries at major museums around the world. The main thrust of the Cantor Foundation's support focuses on the art of Auguste Rodin and women's health issues. The Foundation's efforts are concentrated primarily in California and New York.
